Inspirations.
Our main inspiration for our film was se7en. David Fincher's Se7en was one of our first films studied. We chose Se7en due to its conformity to the typical conventions of the thriller genre. Fincher Demonstrates thrill, uncertainty and tension thus allowing the audience to embrace the typical emotions that thriller films portray. The main inspiration we took from Se7en is the narrative as we believe the idea of having two detectives poprtrays a clear drive in narrative as our narrative will be much easier to follow due to the character roles of having two detectives. This is beacuse our detectives will express a clear distinction and comparison for the audience. Having two detectives will demonstrate a differentiation between the two thus expressing stereotypical ideologies of the two detectives.
