Characters
1.) Jack Smith.
Rash young detective. He is naïve and is less intelligent than his elder partner. He Lets actions speak louder than words. This allows the audience to make a comparison between the two protagonists. He will wear casual office attire as this will portray him as a upper class, working man. This allows the audience to relate to his character and also perceive him as a hero due to his smart clothing for example a white shirt will portray purity. His motive is to provide for his family as he needs the money from this dangerous job.

Older second detective (50 years old) he is more intelligent as he uses his head more to analyse the situation, this portrays the stereotype of older people being more wiser therefore making the narrative more beleivable. It also allows the audience to relate to the film as we are expressing common views. His motive is simple as he has a love for the job.

3.) Isis Middleton.
The Villain is an intelligant antagonist that conjures up a plan to mislead the detectives. The villain is also intelligent, this is reflected in his persona but also in his age as he will be wearing old fashioned clothing. Similar to the elder protagonist, our villain we try to gain the upper hand using his intelligence. He will be wearing dark clothes and a hat to portray mystery and to also express his character of being a villain to the audience. His motive is to get payback on the government however he is mentally damaged as he is an ex-army soldier. This allows the audience to differentiate between the three characters as they are all have similarities but are extremely different. This enables the audience to start questioning thus wanting to watch more.
